1. Boise
2. Marshall
3. Memphis
4. Tech
5. Utah State or UCF or ECU

All good teams from good conferences. The only thing not close is the MAC and the Belt.
NIU was 11-3

Sorry forgot NIU but I'm not sure they are top 5. I was not impressed with CO State either. Cinco good O but D was questionable.

RE: Congrats to CUSA for a great Bowl Season
I saw something last night on FB where it ranked C-USA as having the best bowl records.. Several SEC fans commented that it's because C-USA doesn't play anyone in regular season or in bowls..

One of the best responses was because it's a situation the SEC, PAC 12, Big XII, ACC, and Big 10 created. But after seeing the SEC's performance in the bowls, I'd be worried about C-USA too.

Boise at #38? How old are those?

2 days (01/03/15)

Boise's schedule:

11. Ole Miss (Lost by 22)
36. Arizona (Won by 8)
54. BYU (Won by 25)
55. Utah St (Won by 31)
67. Colorado St (Won by 13)
81. ULL (Won by 25)
84. Air Force (Lost by 14)
89. SD State (Won by 9)
95. Nevada (Won by 5)
116. Fresno St (Won by 10)
116. Fresno St (Won by 14)

129. Wyoming (Won by 49)
130. New Mexico (Won by 11)
182. Uconn (Won by 17)

Looks like the loss to Air Force and the close games with Nevada, Fresno St, New Mexico, and Uconn hurt their rating.

They don't include Boise's Access Bowl win against top 10ish Arizona. That was on 12-31.

Boise's win over Arizona was included. Those ranking covered games through 01/03/2015, as I mentioned when I originally posted the link.

However, since games by other teams since then had an affect on the numbers, here's an update.

http://www.usatoday.com/sports/ncaaf/sag...onference/

"COLLEGE FOOTBALL 2014 through results of 2015 JANUARY 4 SUNDAY"

24. Marshall
35. Louisiana Tech
37. Boise St.
39. Memphis
51. Utah St.
58. Cincinnati
59. UCF
63. Colorado St.
64. Georgia Southern
65. East Carolina
69. Rice
71. Northern Illinois
73. Toledo
74. Houston
75. Air Force

I listed the top 15 instead of 10 so the MAC schools would have a place on the list.
