That's really lame. I haven't see the attendance for the men's game yet. How do programs exist with numbers like that. We think our attendance is bad, that is horrible. Maybe they have a giant athletic fund. Or with the number of students, they have enough fees to run a program financially. Or maybe they sell $100 boxes of popcorn, with $50 Cokes. Yeah. That's probably how they do it.

At most schools at our level- GaSt, FIU, FAU, ULM, etc. the athletic programs are almost totally state supported (I've been to nearly empty arena's in all those places except GaSt). Arkansas law won't allow that (I wonder who is behind that). So we are much more reliant on donations and ticket sales. GaSt's most expensive ticket is $15. I couldn't find a price for a season ticket (a ten game package costs $100), but I assume they have a season ticket package at this point. I know they didn't used to even sell season tickets when they were in the TAAC. No need to do so. You guys just don't get what we are up against.

Hell, I've seen the attendance number for several Trojan box scores this year around 500-600, and they weren't all women's games either. Something's gotta happen, and soon, or this program will be completely dead. If this administration and the new AD can't see it, then my suspicions will be correct, they don't give a **** about athletics. I can see the new sign on the Jack now, the Jackson Stephens Graduation Center. They can use it three times a year for graduations, and perhaps rent it out for small concerts. They can still use their popcorn machines.

GaSt "announced" 1269 for the men. Like most southern midmajors, basketball does not even come close to paying it's own way. Student fees and state funds pay for the programs.
