Congrats, hope he gets a legit chance and sticks in the NFL for 20 years! Too bad Martens was injured just after college, coming out of Rice I thought he had a good chance to stick in the NFL.

Not a fan of the Giants, but it's hard to find an organization with as long and historic a history as they have.

I am a lifelong Giants fan, and you can not ask for a better run, family (the Mara's)-oriented organization. Very high value placed on character, personal loyalty (both ways) and integrity.

I love some of the morons who comment on football sites... They list as 'negatives' for him that he is a 'Christian'. Sure... THAT's a negative, but convictions for assault, domestic violence and repeated fines and suspensions for egregious fouls are 'positives'. Some people have some incredibly skewed priorities in life.

You're not going to find that type of person/player on the Giants, and if any were guilty once on the team, they were promptly release (with the lone exception being Lawrence Taylor....well, because he was LT the original!)

As someone generally critical of religion, I couldn't agree more. Maybe Tim Tebow caused some extended pain for New Yorkers. But, it's utterly moronic to bring that up before they've met him and before he's hit the field.

As a NY'er I'm offended at the comment. Tim Tebow failed because he wasn't very good and wasn't used properly by the Jets. He enjoyed nothing but support from the fans on and off the field

He was a non-factor to Jets fans as well. Most couldn't figure out the move and thought it simply a play by the franchise to sell jerseys nationally, grab the back pages and have an alternative option to Mark Sanchez (admittedly this is from a Giants fan).

In any case, happy to have Boswell taking a shot. If we can get some O-line help and upgrade the defense, the Giants will be very exciting next year.

As a Devils fan, yeah, I always root against the NY Rangers on principle. I'm neutral on the Islanders. But then again I'm not a "New Yorker" (or even a "New Jerseyer").
It is nice to be included in with NYI/NYR, with our inferiority complex we always appreciate that, thanks!
