Very excited for this one.

Tribe opens a 9.5 point favorite.

It's Scout Day so expect a lot of kids.

What I want to see:
1) no lulls - a full 60 minutes of desire
2) a hot game for Omar
3) one, flying dunk by Thornton
4) several fast break buckets - preferably with some theatrics in the passing from Tarpey
5) at least one foul shout for Canyon Barry (his Mom is former W&M star and homecoming queen, Lynn Noremberg) - like his Dad, Rick Barry.
6) a raucous crowd to give this team some appreciation and energy
7) A 1-0 start in the CAA

Back to back games for Canyon Barry playing in arenas where his parent's jerseys are retired....no pressure....he went scoreless against Miami...hope Daniel has the same success blanking him again...

Baru's knee has hampered his play...another advantage for us.

It's a real shame they fired Wojcik. He would have been fun to heckle at the game

Barry didn't score at Miami. Let's hope he follows suit at his Mom's school.
I think we're still going to have to guard him.

This a very big game for our good guys; it's a game we have to win. Not only the CAA opener
and a home game, but for the team's confidence.

Losing three tight December road games they might have just as well won as lost creates doubts. The fine second half at UNC helped, but we need to produce a complete game
this afternoon...to play with confidence and 40-minute aggressiveness.

Line down to 9, but that is mostly hard core gamblers looking for a score.

So who are the people sitting on the east sideline? In the past the cheerleaders stood there, or is it just b/c they're on break?

Something new they are trying out this year - allowing fans to sit on the baseline. I know that for at least one game they offered to various fans in the crowd to sit there. Not sure if that's how those fans got there this game or what.

Yup - and the cheerleaders are over there now too.

It's 1 of 5 original D1 programs to never make the Tournament CSN, not the only program to never make it...

I went to the TribeAthletics site and found the same exact thing.

I see it now, but the link is buried. Most of the expected locations for it show audio only. Should be Front and Center. Dont they want people to watch???
