Just like too much blue, too much green. I'm all for banning green fields as a competitive disadvantage. 07-coffee3

No idea who is even winning the games. Confused by some of the threads on here as to what happened, which league got crushed and didn't.

Agree with the sentiment on P5s

But my heart warms a little with FSU getting OWNED.

On second thought, I hear her. It didn't have to be that way, that's the third turnover that's led to a TD.

And a good kickoff return has just been nullified by penalty. FSU just can't keep from shooting themselves in the foot.

Looks like they did again. That foot's gonna have to be amputated.

I think it's already been cut off, with no anesthesia.

It's amazing to see how Florida State took themselves out of this game. This game could still be close if not for the turnovers. That's 28 points off turnovers in the second half alone and all of them could have been FSU TD's in reverse. It's not as if Oregon is overpowering them.

I think Marcus Mariotta just sealed up the #1 pick in the NFL draft today.

Or it could perhaps be that FSU is not that good and they barely squeaked by a lot of very mediocre teams this year.

Turnovers change the game a lot. All of those mistakes, half of them by a true freshman, were avoidable and gave Oregon momentum in what was a close game.

It's easy to look at the final score and assume they were overrated but they could have won this game.

This is how Oregon wins though. Ultimately the opposition's offense gets flustered and self destructs trying to keep up with Oregon's offense. Not very many teams are disciplined enough to keep their heads and play within themselves once Oregon's offense clicks off a few scores. Oregon's defense isn't built to stop opponents- it's built to capitalize on mistakes. They're just always around the ball with a fumble or in the area in a tipped pass to capitalize.

See. Oregon rushes three then has five guys trying to strip the ball after the catch. That's how they do.

You have got to be kidding me. They are losing by 40 points. If you play this game 10 times Oregon wins 10 of them. This is one of the worst beatings in major bowl game history.

All of those Florida State TO's were avoidable. All of them. The game was within 5 at halftime but Oregon got 28 points off turnovers in only a quarter's time. Not even 2001 Miami could have survived that against a top ten team.
