Nice touch of class at the end, FSU not bothering to stay to shake hands.

I said that I thought Oregon deserved to be ranked #1 going into the Playoff and I stand by that even more with this final but....I think it may have served Oregon best this time around to be ranked #2.

I thought that FSU has composure and the never give up attitude according to Jimbo Shrimp?

I wonder how Marge Schott is taking the beat down?

This is more along the lines of WVU's beat down of Clemson in the 2012 Orange Bowl.

It's not as bad as WVU's beating of Clemson. That was a massacre.

Clemson lost by 37. FSU lost by 39. You were saying?

WVU had that game won at the end of the first quarter. The game today ended in the middle of the third quarter.

Try to think beyond the numbers.

I thought they should have been #1, Alabama #2 and TCU #3. FSU had to be #4 simply because they were unbeaten, but I never thought they were as good as Ohio St. or Baylor.

Actually, that game was a seesaw battle until Darwin Cook return the fumble on the goal line for a TD, and tackled Obie behind the end zone. That happened in the 2nd quarter. After that, the rout was on.

That is correct. 2nd quarter did Clemson in that day. 3rd quarter did FSU in today.
