I clicked this thread with the expectation of a picture with CUSA at top. I quickly questioned why I ever had those expectations. Screw ESPN.

Hey look another one of these threads.

I don't get it, yesterday ESPN, the rest of the nat'l media outlets along the with the rest of the nation's college sports fans really cared about non power 5 conferences and schools. What's changed today?

I often wonder what would happen if ESPN was taken over for a day and run by unbiased analysts and commentators. Would people's eyes be opened or would they just wonder why all this "false" information was showing up on their screens? Or would their heads just explode?

You blast ESPN for this, yet you are using the moniker they came up with, "P5", to make us feel irrelevant.

It's what happens when you have a true monopoly on something. You get to dictate the narrative.

You know asking ESPN to report less on these conferences would be like asking CNN, MSNBC, or fox news to report the truth

Ain't happening

Damage control because they have been telling us all year how great the SEC is this year and they are getting rolled in bowl games the last couple of days. I love it

My guess would be the heads exploding.

This is the classic example of the tail wagging the dog. ESPN doesn't make money off of reporting about sports, it makes its money off of broadcasting sports. They have much more incentive to promote what they're broadcasting vs. reporting upon it objectively.

The whole thing has turned into a giant pro wrestling promotion. Chris Fowler is Jim Ross, Kirk Herbstreit is Boyd Pierce, and Alabama is the Junkyard Dog.

Who's Vince McMahon? I'd imagine Don King in there somewhere since he destroyed boxing as we knew it

Holtz disguised in a dress & swinging a tennis racquet is surprisingly easy to picture.
