Probably the worst Citrus Bowl matchup in decades. Combined ranking of 41.
It's a big day for the BIG to show up in my opinion

They've almost always failed in situations like this. But this is a different year; anything can happen.
So far, MSU is hanging with Baylor.

The game looks to be getting away from Michigan State. It's 21-0 Baylor, and the Bears look like they're about to add another score.

It was. 24-14 at the half, but MSU is playing tough. They can still beat Baylor.

I guess mental pause has set in again.
Minor details.

The B1G will be 1-2 after the Baylor game ends, unless Minnesota pulls off a miracle comeback. It doesn't look like that will happen at the moment though.

If Baylor wins, the Big 12 will be 2-3 so far. Your **** talking is hypocritical and based upon jealousy.
No matter what, The Big Ten was able to land four teams in five of the New Year's Day games.
Keep on hating. Most of us knew that the Baylor game could very likely go badly for Michigan State.
To be honest, it matters more to us during the games vs the SEC than the games vs the Big 12.

The Whiskey win is nice but the only game that really matters to the B1G today is OSU vs Bama. If OSU can win and go to the title game it sort of vindicates the entire league, especially since the win would be against their biggest, the SEC.

The Wisconsin skin of teeth escape vs Auburn is nice, but no way as important as Cotton Bowl vs Baylor. Not even close.

Nice try, a win is a win on New Year's Day. I realize you guys have an overriding agenda to attack attack attack when it comes to the Big Ten.
You can keep making up your excuses about "importance". They are all exhibition and a win by Baylor doesn't earn them a spot in the Playoff so their win doesn't matter any more than Wisconsin's.

there's really nothing to vindicate. Every conference has strong and weak teams every year. The SEC had the two Mississippis get their asses handed to them yesterday, the ACC looked awful for awhile but GT and Clemson looked awesome, the B1G was competitive in nearly every game, the Big 12 had some great games some bad games.

Yes, the OSU game is worth more than the other three Big Ten games. For the Big Ten, the Wisconsin game matters just as much as the Michigan State game.
It is funny watching folks with their agenda's trying to write fictional pieces to the opposite.

Very true...outside of the Semifinals the "Exhibition Games" on NYE & NYD are pretty much the same...Saw no real difference between the Citrus Bowl, Outback Bowl, Fiesta Bowl, Peach Bowl, Cotton Bowl and Orange Bowl...
