Outback Bowl: Auburn vs Wisconsin
Both of these teams were ranked most of the year, and both were beaten badly in their last games. Of those, Auburn's looked more respectable - they lost by 11 to #1 Alabama on the road, whereas Wisconsin was subjected to a beat-down of epic proportions at the hands of Ohio State.
But look more closely: Excluding a win over somebody named "Samford", an FCS team, Auburn has lost THREE straight games. They lost to Texas A/M, and got shellacked by Georgia. In contrast, Wisconsin's loss to Ohio State was their only bad game in the last two months of the season.
Auburn is favored by a whopping 7 points? This is SEC hype run amock.
Wisconsin 31
Auburn 21

Not really disappointed, just surprised to see an SEC guy able to look past that absolutely horrible loss against Ohio State.

With Alvarez accepting the Senior's request for him to coach them again, it seems they are driven to make amends to him for their Rose Bowl loss. I don't think we will see them playing another flat game.

Two big stops and a touchdown on their first possession. Not bad so far.

We saw Wisconsin start out like this against LSU at the beginning of the season, too. Let's see if they can hang on vs. Auburn (an actual LEGIT team from the SEC WEST).

That run right there is Melvin Gordon at his best and why he is the best this year.

Big turnaround when Auburn didn't score after having the ball inside the Wisconsin 30, and then Wisconsin gets another huge run by Gordon to take the lead.
Looks like the Badgers are going to take this one.

Todd Gurley might say otherwise....torn ACL and suspension hurt his chances...watch out next year for LSU Freshmen RB Leonard Fournette...maybe the best SEC RB since Bo Jackson...

In terms of pure talent, Fournette is just a beast.

All of the games today are competitive. But IMO this is the best game so far today. It's been a seesaw battle, with several ties and lead changes.

31-28 Auburn. Refs bailed them out with the PI call.
Can Gordon run down the field one more time?

Three stupid plays by Auburn in OT and a doink FG attempt... Wisconsin wins!

Seems like EVERYBODY is beating an SEC West team this year!
How in the world did WVU lose to one?
