I thought it was kinda flat, after I'd hyped it so much in my mind.

It particularly bothered me that the thrush didn't tell Bard where Smaug's weak spot was, and he just got lucky and saw it.

I enjoyed it, because I gave up on it being a movie based on the book and just watched it as "Thorin, Prince of Erebor." Did not like the Dune Spiceworms (and how did the bad guys come pouring out of tunnels that still were filled with giant worms?) or the suddenly appearing Very Bighorn Sheep.

I liked that it jumped right into action and I had hopes it would avoid the Save The Cat formula, but then it slipped right into it complete with "Bad Guys Close In," "All is Lost" and "Dark Night of the Soul."

The good guys do kill an awful lot of bammers.

I come from a Bama house. I have tremendous hate. I understand that people hate our program but I live in a world where my peers believe the tide lives in another world and I'm so glad to see these asshats get theirs. GO BLAZERS!

Football is fun.

FSU and Alabama lost! At least some justice has been served this year hopefully it is but a taste of what is to come.

I'm just glad our media won't have much to discuss about Alabama football during the time our faculty senate is voting for no confidence in Watts

Yeah, in retrospect I should have taken the same approach. Maybe when I watch the DVD next summer.

I imagine a lot of Bama fans will have reservations to go to and stay in Dallas to cancel tomorrow. If they go anyway, at least they can have a "red team" to support if they wish.

My preference is the team whose colors are green and gold.

Justice? There is no justice in losing a football game because the salient fact is that UAT is still allowed to PLAY football games, win or lose.

I used the word "some." I agree with you about "them burning in Hell," but for now I will enjoy their humiliation though.
