On the one hand sticking it to the P5 is delicious. OTOH, it is Boise St and the MWC that will get the credit.

Everyone knows it's Boise then everyone else in the MWC. Whatever little credit is given, Boise will get it.

I understand what you are saying, and if Boise continues to rep the G5 and continues to win the game, it will be a problem...but for right now, after a year in which many argued the G5 didn't deserve a New Years 6 spot period. Its better off for Boise to win, so more people will believe that the G5 champion is worthy.

You are right, very little credit will be given to Boise for this win, though they do deserve it. What I love about this board is that the same posters who post about the MWC sucking will be beating the drum about adding 4 to 6 of their teams to the AAC tomorrow.

We need to be the Borg* and assimilate Boise, Fresno, SDSU, & Colorado State ... assuming that Air Force, Army, & BYU are not interested.

Seeing the committee not even rank a G5 school most of the season makes me want to see Boise State win by 50.

Who exactly deserved to be ranked from the G5 during the season? All except ECU and CSU failed miserably OOC.

Colorado State, Boise, heck even Marshall.

Now that wasn't so hard to admit, was it? THEY STILL DESERVE TO BE RANKED!

No they don't. They lost, now back to the rabbit hole of whereversville Tenessee

The Old C-USA/MWC Alliance talk a couple of years ago makes so much since now between the AAC/MWC...going forward maybe something both leagues should look into...04-cheers

Can't say that....UCF and Cincinnati and others in the AAC have a say...if ECU would have handled business they had the early inside track for that spot.
