It most certainly is progress.
Pookie needed a few games under his belt to become acclimated as a college level point guard.
You start off with playing some cupcakes....build up confidence that he can play at that level...and dramatically increase the competition, so that his growth as a player follows along with increased competition.
I think we're going to be fine at the end of the season.

For the simpleminded who don't understand the comparison between Kiffin and Pastner here is a dumbed down version for you. They are both young coaches. They both got positions at colleges for which they weren't really qualified. One was fired and then was able to go back and within one year totally rebuild his image at another university as an assistant. There you go You simpleminded. That is my advice to Pastner. He hasn't changed at all. He HAS to be quieter at Alabama because he works for Nick Saban.

I think he is trying to be funny. Nobody could actually think like that. Ed Orgeron took over Kiffin's team and did better than Kiffin did. He has a record of 40-36 as a head coach.

Chi-Town, here is what you and I know but the childish name caller hasn't figured out.

Kiffin was an arrogant jerk.
Kiffin was a nomadic job jumper.
Kiffin failed repeatedly.
Kiffin existed only on his daddy's rep.
Kiffin is now at best the number two guy in a machine that works just as well with interchangeable OCs

Until he gets his own team again we don't know anything but bad about Kiffin.
