I bet they don't give a damn. They did what they were supposed to do, ensure the most eyeballs are on the game. I'm no Bama fan by any stretch but I hope Ohio State gets prison raped.

Seriously doubt they care at this point. Checks are cashed and they will just say "with the information they had " this was the top 4 teams.. TCU belonged though it seems.

Expand the playoff to Top 6 with auto bids to P-5 champs

Don't think that is going to happen...College Football Lives on Heated Debate..this ensures it in the Off Season...

What would be worse for the committee would be if OSU blows out Bama and Baylor whups Michigan State. It's possible that both Big 12 schools could end up in the top 4 in the AP poll. The committee might not care, but they would be exposed.

I think the CFP committee will look at the Peach Bowl result and decide to drop TCU 3 more spots to #9 so they can slide Ole Miss up to #8. After all, one game should not overshadow the complete body of work of the mighty SEC West!

They don't care.

They put OSU in the playoff because they couldn't bring themselves to reward a team for not having a championship game.

Nobody in their right mind thinks OSU is actually better than TCU, and now not even crazies after today.

Ohio State has yet to play. This wasn't the first game of the year that we have seen Ole Miss stink it up. Not surprising though that the Alabama guy would try to set that particular tone.

I hope your guys on the field are overlooking Ohio State just as much.

I don't, I hope OSU wins, so every league can be looked at a little more equally to the SEC going forward. Don't think it will happen though; that is OSU winning.

Does anyone now believe that TCU should be #1? If not, then the Committee is fine.

TCU certainly looked the part of a #1 team. But since they didn't get a chance to prove it, we'll never know.

Baylor or TCU will be the #2 team in the nation

TCU lost to Baylor, they would have been chosen over TCU. B12 screwed themselves with the CO-Champion BS and gave the committee a perfect out. If anything was learned by the committee, put head to head earlier than later in the season. Even without the committee, using the old BCS rankings, the same top four would have gotten in.

That isn't how the Committee will do it and all the other polls don't matter.

The top four teams will be in the top four rankings of the committee after this is all said and done. They have already shown they will do whatever they want regardless of other polls and such.

I am betting on them setting a new precedent that doesn't require them to shoot themselves in the foot by putting teams that they didn't pick in a higher ranking at the end in comparison to teams that they did pick.

Going to be very interesting to see if Baylor can put the whooping on MSU. Then I really think the committee overlooked the Big 12. But again, we need more information. OSU just needs to keep it close. Think Arizona/Boise last night. If they stay in it, no one is going to complain.

Yeah, but Baylor better realize that Dantonio is going to use the whole Harbaugh situation as an angle to get his players angry. All the Big Ten talk has been about that and not how important today is for the conference as a whole.

Ohio State has the flagship game but Michigan State's game is extremely important for how the Big Ten will be perceived. It is more important than the Wisconsin and Minnesota games due to the controversy about how Baylor should have been In.

If MSU can pull off the win then it seals the deal.
