Baylor looked like the better team for most of the game.
Offensive face mask penalty, needless block in the back cost Baylor the game in a blowout fashion.
Sparty hung tough and pulled out the W, congrats.

Final will be:
#1 dah
#2 loser of NC game
#3 Bama
#4 TCU
#5 MSU
#6 FSU
I'd put MSU ahead of TCU - after all, MSU's only losses are to the two teams in the NC, and they beat Baylor (who gave TCU their only loss)..

If you add the top G5 team (Boise State) it really makes me wish we had an 8 team playoff.
Yes - and note, in reality, only ONE SEC team would be deserving of being in an 8 team playoff.

Gundy already had us #1 before the bowls and some other coaches and writers may follow suit, just as a sort of "protest" vote to expand the playoff. That plus alabama's extra loss might be enough for 3. Might depend on how Ohio State does against Oregon.
It's really a shame we didn't have a shot at the playoff. Not that any of the other four aren't deserving, but I really think we have as good a team as anyone.
You guys aren't getting any #1 votes. I think it is great that you guys are able to make an argument for being worthy of being in the playoff but don't go too far. You aren't getting any #1 votes.
Why would Gundy change his vote after the bowls? You have to figure he will keep us #1. And I wouldn't be surprised if a couple rock- the-boat type voters followed suit in either the AP or coaches as a sort of protest to the system.
