TCU Absolutely Crushing Ole Miss
Looks like TCU had a Texas sized chip on their shoulder about CFP. Should I be nervous about when Baylor plays Sparty?

If they play like they did against Purdue, then yes. They will be in trouble.

Ole Miss isn't that good... the SEC isn't as strong this year.

The SEC is down but TCU & Baylor (despite their 1 pt loss) have improved themselves and are keeping themselves on a high plane of competition. The same cannot be said about Texas & Oklahoma the 2 big name programs in the Big 12, they have embarassed themselves this bowl season

Grats on some big wins this bowl season, especially knocking off Bama. Keep hiring great coaches and it will continue. This has been a great season for CFB to help prove that great teams can come from outside the SEC footprint too, despite was ESPN might push.

TCU really is just a bad call from being undefeated. Glad they laid the wood in their bowl game. Wish FSU had lost earlier this season, as TCU is a much better team IMO and would have had FSU's slot if FSU had ever lost. They and tOSU both deserved to get in, but once tOSU crushed Wisconsin it was obvious they would get the call with the extra emphatic win.

I think Texas will be back on top within a couple years. I think Strong is the right guy there to get that train back on track. Stoops needs to put work in at OU. The Sooners are really starting to look a little like Mack Brown's Texas teams at the end of his tenure. He better make the right hires to replace the guys he fired or else his seat might get a little warm in a couple years. They both need to find good QBs. The last few years they have been serviceable at best.

No doubt Strong can get them back on track but as you know Tejas fans are very impatient and won't take another 6-6 season. AT least he did get them into a bowl. I've read on B12 boards the very comparison you stated about Stoops and Mack Brown. At least Mack Brown had the state of Texas as his recruiting back yard. While OU does recruit Texas hard they are not an instate team and the state of Oklahoma doens't produce all that much talent. He has his hands full turning that program around with Baylor & TCU growing like they have, the resurgence of A&M and Snyder continuing to defy the odds at KSU.
