TCU had no chance of making the playoff with a loss to another 1 loss team in their conference. TCU looked better by the eye test but logic simply won't let leave Baylor at home with TCU in it. The committee had the perfect cop out in OSU.

That's so true. Everyone knows that when the SEC loses in a bowl it's because they didn't really want to be playing in such a crappy bowl, while if the Big Ten loses in the same bowl it's because they were overrated.

You can blame the Big12's attempt at trolling everyone else for that. When left to pick between two worthy teams, the committee found four others.
