We play in 6 weeks, so I would sure hope they are getting close. Any information regarding other candidates?

It's a bit frustrating to post, and in lieu of having an interesting debate, you receive a number of insults and childish taunts.

So with that, I will bid my adieu. It has been interesting reading posts and interacting with fellow Huskie fans. However, at this point, I feel like the drunk uncle who has overextended his visit and the family wants him out of the house. Best wishes and happy new year to one and all. Go Huskies!

+1 it really gets old, especially coming from someone that changes their views and opinions on players/coaches literally every single game (heck, every single quarter), and is wrong 75% of the time

If this isn't the pot calling the kettle black, I don't know what is.

Yeah, super meta.

Sometimes it's like people haven't dealt with the internet before. It's a consequence of expressing your opinion or even existing. People will not always react kindly. Unless they are actively trying to hurt or sabotage you, let it roll off your back.

Happened a month ago. No official thread... But really, doing that would only make Chaz happy.. Let him be forgotten.

^^^ +1 All of this. The name calling & nastiness have gotten out of hand. There are a couple of real bullies on here that seem to take over and do nothing but hand out personal insults.
I am a die hard fan - love my Huskies & used to really enjoy being connected with other fans on here. It's not so much fun anymore.

I too bid you farewell.

You guys are being too sensitive. Check out the Marshall or AAC board, if you think this is bad you would be appalled.

The worst insult around here has been "idiot".

The worst insult there would be "Mom, Sugar & Sister?"

HFA, I hope you re-consider. You and your family are the true definition of great Huskie fans. You bring a different perspective to the board.

And, it's great to have Huskie fans representing in Central Illinois!

This board does get out of hand, especially in the offseason. That's why I don't post for a few months after basketball season ends.

This is the mellowest college football message board I've ever been a part of. But I was never invited to that double secret NIU board. That must have been all sunshine and rainbows

Hilarious when posters "resign" from the board with a going away lecture (a la Whiskey Dick) No one cares, just go away.
