RE: RIP Big AL Green
Think most of you are thinking of the wrong Al Green. The Lancer is Lance Russel and the Al Green is Big Al Green brother of Don Green.. A mid south wrestling team of the 70s and 80s. That is why i used the name BIG Al Green

Understood now. In Memphis Al Green means the 'rev'.

As a Saturday morning tv13 wrestling viewer, and frequent goer (send a stamped, self addressed envelope to 485 So. Highland) I remember that Al Green well. Seemed like every Saturday it was Melvin Kimball & Al Green wrestling against Jerry Lawler & Jim White.

I thought it was a baseball bat forearm. Telephone pole does sound better.

I believe Lance would refer to it as "telephone pole broad-arm."

Fond memories from an earlier time in pro rassalin. Lance Bannana Nose Russell. Great times, miss those days.
