Bowl itself looked terrible on TV. It was very disappointing to see such an empty stadium. I understand Maryland not bringing anybody, but Stanford is less than an hour away so there is no excuse for Cardinal fans not turning this into an extra home games. The field was in really bad shape. The turf was all chewed up by halftime.

Last year Duke gave its students FREE tickets to the Peach Bowl vs. Texas AM. When you have a smallish following, you do what you have to do to fill the stadium, IMO.

Espn is making it that way. But no, FBS is still one division with 125 teams. Let them all duke it out
