Louisiana game
Here at the Jack. 10 min til tipoff. I'd say a legitimate 1000 here. Girls won big. Louisiana is not nearly as impressive looking as in the past

10-7 Trojans at 1st media TO. Looks like a winnable game. Shawn Long is a beast but as long as James stays out of foul trouble we're fine.

33-32 Trojans. 4 min left in half. Guys are playing very hard and overall pretty well. Seem to be a little more free offensively than in the past. Gus gave 6 really strong minutes against Long

RE: Louisiana game
39-37 Louisiana at half. They killed us on boards last 4 minutes. White got tired and Hill and Woods are way to short to rebound with the big boys

Getting out of hand... Raining threes and dominating boards.

Furious comeback led by Hagins, Isom, White and tremendous hustle plays by Reid. 68-65 Louisiana 5 min left

RE: Louisiana game
We missed three crucial free throw in overtime, plus James White missed an unopposed layup, and we had several layups that should have, but didn't go in. As my number one grandson has said on many occasions, UALR plays just well enough to lose.

6'6". 355 pounds. Louisiana had to increase their basketball budget just to feed that kid.

No Doc, they didn't increase the budget, they just made one of those skinny kids give him half of his food. Maybe they've got a Stetson who was willing to take one for the team, and eat less this year. Sure did remind me of the "Dog", Jeff Cummings, after he got fat.

"The made one of those skinny kids give him half their food". That's worthy of a Scotto quoteable.
