Graphic of where the SEC gets it's recruits (Big 12 needs an upgrade?)
The chart below represents the composition of 2014 SEC rosters by the listed home locations of football players for each of the league's 14 programs.

RE: Graphic of where the SEC gets it's recruits (Big 12 needs an upgrade?)
I know 2 or 3 years ago, they released something similar that included info.
For instance, the one big thing I took away from it, was the fact that there were 22 players from Memphis that STARTED for their respective teams.
There was no mention, that I recall, of how many total players there were from Memphis on SEC teams.

BTW, what I saw was strictly football, to be crystal.

IF that time comes an expanded Big 12 recruiting base should a strong consideration -- especially after recent events. BTW - looks like the SEC is pulling a lot of Texas recruits. 03-wink

It would be interesting to see this same map a few years ago, prior to adding Mizzou and Tamu.

Not just TCU. Longhorn recruiting has taken a significant step backwards. Can u imagine what the score would have been had Longhorns played Aggies this year? Texas may have exploded for 21 or even 28. But Aggies would have been like a tote board.

I'm not to be a Debbie downer but Texas recruiting is starting to pick back up. They took 2 of A&Ms top recruits before Christmas.

Strong is a good coach, he will turn them around.

As much as I hate the $EC, aTm's move to the $EC has proven to be an absolute blockbuster deal for them. Strong must be a pretty solid recruiter to pull that off. UT vs. aTM....wow, that's a serious, serious rivalry.

He is doing it on the recruiting trail. He didn't have much to work with this year. I also saw he has a 6'7 QB committed for 2015.

Is that the QB the commentators spoke about as being a dilemma as he will be available after the bball season as he prefers to play hoops first meaning he wont be available for spring practices to challenge the current QBs?

Send the graphic and the poll from the Dallas paper to Bowlsby.

Apparently he hasn't gotten the memo yet.

Interesting that more kids are coming out of NW Arkansas than out of Little Rock these days.

I'd be interested in seeing this map with scholarship players only.

That's because big-city (Little Rock) dwellers have soccer-moms. Soccer-moms have their husbands PWed, and do not allow their sons to play Fooseball, which is obviously from the devil.

Random post of the day. NW Arkansas probably has more soccer moms than LR.
