Quote:When the University of Memphis basketball team opens American Athletic Conference play on Dec. 31, the Tigers will still be in search of a resume-defining win.

When did they ever care? I still haven't gone on their site since the decision to go with free articles on SEC, but pay for all Tigers related articles.

Folks, the cold hard truth is our basketball team is irrelevant so far and Ole Miss does recruit on a National level battling for 4 and 5 * players. Our football program is not there to compare with Ole miss and their facilities.

The Tigers have and always will be the top story in this town. There was a lull after bowl and basketball team probably needed a break from coverage because it has been mostly bad. One thing we cannot ever complain about in this town is media coverage, if we make news good or bad it is top spot onnews, front page of paper, nothing to see here. The SEC will always get some play, never going to change.

Zachman, I agree with you on the overall coverage of Tiger athletics, but d@mn, a top of the page coverage on ole miss recruiting? Soon as I saw that, I threw the whole d@mn sports page in the garbage. Couldn't give 2 sh!ts about the black bears or their recruiting. Freeze is a big time prick, and the people that know him know that to be the truth.
