Boca is not ours next season to my knowledge. Its a MAC primary bowl and CUSA this season but AAC gets it next year and it rotates through other xonferences for the MAC opponent.

Our bowl picture nexts season is very bleak, at best.

Wow this is just as bad as the MAC in 2003. Could finish 8-4 and not get a bowl. Better hope we win the conference or someone in the conference gets the Access.

You know this whole rotating bowl thing goes both ways. We rotate out of boca and pick up another. I also believe we will be in either Nola and or Armed forces next year. Expect 5 bowls and a secondary somewhere.

Some of you guys have no clue about the facts. Per the C-USA home page, the conference is guaranteed to have a MINIMUM of 5 bowl berths per year through the 2019 season.

That website also says that the champion chooses their bowl also. We all know how that went!

And what rotates back to us then? What 5 bowls are we guaranteed next season?

HoD
Bahamas
New Mexico

Those are the only 3 i see with us having a guaranteed tie in next season. Sure we may have two others rotate in, just cant find what they are.

Edit: researched and found that we may get st petersburg bitcoin bowl back next season. Cant find a 5th.

True. I spent 15 minutes or so trying to find what bowls we get but couldn't really.

The only one here I'm not sure about is the Bahamas. We were supposed to be in Miami this year but traded it for Bahamas.

The Sun Sentinel reported last week while I was in Boca that next year the Miami Bowl will feature C-USA and the AAC.

RE: 15-16 Bowl schedule
We need another bowl. A conference our size needs at least 6 bowl every season. I know most bowls have locked up their ties for several seasons, but B.B. needs to be working on adding another bowl to our line-up as soon as possible.

I think our secondary independence bowl tie- in is going to pay off more often than not. Last year they took a PAC-12 team. Two years ago it was sunbelt vs. MAC. The last time Tech was in it we played MAC. But I agree we can fill 6 every year. I'd like to see another Houston bowl with CUSA in it.

SO our bowl picture looks better than this year...I read somewhere the Sun Belt has 5 bowl tie ins next season...Should never happen where SB has more tie ins than CUSA...

I think they have 4. New Orleans, Go Daddy, Camellia, and a new one in Orlando called "the cure bowl".

5 bowls for 13 teams isn't enough. Even with a couple of back up. Yet another reason why we should stay at 13 and not go to 14.

One positive is we found out CUSA is the primary back up for the New Orleans Bowl.

SB adds the cure next year to get to 4. That's a good number for them seeing it was 2 for the longest time.

Heck, for at least half the time we were in that conference there was only one bowl tie-in.

I'm still upset that both MTSU and UAB were left at home. Damn you Oklahoma St.

We will have 7-8 teams bowl eligible each year.

We all need to follow Marshall's lead and schedule the sisters of the poor's poor so we can land the access.

That didn't exactly work for Marshall and C-USA this year. I like their 2015 schedule. Purdue is exactly the kind of P5 B1G program the MAC has beaten with regularity, while most of the rest of us are flailing away at much, much better SEC programs.

I wish we had a tie in to a bowl game in Orlando, that is a good get..CUSA desperately needs to add another eastern tie in bowl to take care of Eastern schools....The west is pretty much set...
