Well, from the looks of the number of fans in the stands, it would appear that support for the players is waining. People need to be there to support the players even if you they dont support the coach. And, that fan support would increase the liklihood of the season turning positive. The players need he energy from the fans to help pull out the close games..
05-nono

Nah...we all support the players. That'll never end. Ever.

Not by undermining the coach. Just sayin...

Nice spin but the crowd is a result of the coaching.

If anything Pastner undermined himself.

The declining attendance is a direct reflection of attitudes toward pastner. He's lost a lot of this city and it will be difficult to gain it back.

RE: Tigers, Pastner, and this board
Nope.

This city supports a winner. PERIOD!!! I don't care if you lose 75% of your games the year before, turn it around after starting .500 and this city will jump on the bandwagon!!! Amazing how it works, huh?!!

If Pastner were to win the AAC and win one or even better two games in the tourney, if you think this city wouldn't be sold out in support, especially knowing what we have coming in next season... you are completely full of crap, or the dumbest poster on this board.

Now, with all that said, people that have season tickets and "voice" their lack of belief in Pastner better not 03-puke that crap about "But, we support the players"... that is total BS!!! Like the idiots that say "we support the troops" while protesting the war. Who do you think fights in that war? Who do you think cares about the empty seats?!!!

I guess you just can't fix stupid.

As a 40 year season ticket holder and graduate of the university, I will always support the school and players. Of course you hope the coach succeeds because that means the team succeeds. Do some of us think josh is the guy here? Hell no. He's a lousy basketball coach imo. Doesn't mean I don't support the team and go to games.

Yes I do support the players by listening or watching or going to the games but I'm not driving to the Forum to watch us play the teams we have been playing lately..I'd much rather spend time at home with my family and chk my phone every once in a while to see how we are doing.. All in all though I lost a lot of interest in Tiger Basketball about 3 years ago.. But your right It's hard to support the players to the fullest when you have no faith whatsoever in Josh..

Would it be more convenient to you if they played on campus?
