ACC Bowl Slaughter
ACC goes 0-4 over the past two days in bowls versus other P5 opponents. That's a wipeout.

Let's see, you had UNC getting wiped out by Rutgers; BC losing on a missed XP in OT, and #15 Arizona State beating unranked Duke. Who's the fourth?

2-0 against AAC co-champs though.

Par the course the past 10 years...only concern I have is our game with Georgia...OLine has to hold up in pass protection...if so like our Match Up with the Bulldogs Secondary trying to Stop DeVante Parker...07-coffee3

But they are 2-0 vs. the AAC. So not a total wipeout.

One embarrassing loss...UNC

South Carolina 24 Miami 21
Arizona State 36 Duke 31
Penn State 31 Boston College 30 OT

AAC having a meh bowl season so far, too.

Duke actually showed a lot of grit, IMHO, to come back so close (36-31) after falling behind early to a higher-ranked team.

That game ended with Duke thisclose to winning it...Game Saving interception for the Sun Devils...was happy for the Penn State Seniors in the BC Game...

Duke did put up a good fight. Felt bad for them, three straight years now they coulda won their bowl game and just came up short.

Fourth quarter today was fascinating - Duke continuously outsmarted and bamboozled the more-athletic Sun Devils to take the lead, but in the end a couple of big athletic plays beat them.

Great for the Seniors but the prior coaches raped boys or covered it up and the current coach covered up the rape of girls.

Yes, as an institution, PSU deserved all the punishment they got and more, but you have to feel good for the players, they were blameless and shouldered a lot of it.

That why I didn't mention them...for me it was about the guys that stuck though it....The Penn State Seniors...

Seriously though, why feel sorry for the PSU football players? They had the opportunity to go to any other university that would take them and would not have had to sit out. Basically, they all got free passes to leave that cesspool of an institution. They chose to stick it out. PSU gets rewarded for doing what it always should have been doing from the get go. It's a crock. Oh well, as long as Franklin the idiot is coaching that school, they may as well be on probation...

Not about "feeling sorry" for them but can appreciate that they decided not to go the "easy way" and in the end was given the opportunity to play in a Post Season Football Game...but if you feel differently...fine..

The Conference thing is a SEC-(Southern Thing)...like I said earlier in this thread my focus is not so much on what the ACC is doing but UofL matchup with Georgia Tuesday...Georgia with RB Nick Chubb-(SEC Freshman of the Year) vs. the Louisville Defense which is Ranked 3rd Nationally against the Run and 6th Overall..also, I want to see if the Louisville OLine can give our Freshmen QB Time to throw..if they do DeVante Parker will light up the UGa Secondary...
