Any Rose Bowl executive from the 1930's would have no idea what any of you are chanting about. A 1930's Rose Bowl would have been Alabama-Oregon.

Real Rose Bowl. 03-phew

And would have been quite startled at what game these young college students were playing under the name of "football".

The first Big Nine / PCC agreement dates to 1947, so over 2/3 of the time since the first bowl game in the Rose Bowl, the Rose Bowl has been the arrangement that people mean when they say "the Real Rose Bowl". 2/3 of a century is plenty of time for something to be accepted as the "normal" way things are.

The bad news for B1G fans is that you got no chance. Did you see that Oregon quarterback?

He is better than Andrew Luck. A new Brady is born.

Somehow I think Cardale Jones will be better... maybe not now but by the end of next year. Started two games, kicked Whiskys ass and put up 40+ on Bama. Inexperience will cost him against Oregon but next season...

What's impressive is that Ohio State is on their 3rd String QB at this point and still rolling through for the National Championship Game. And yea can we move this one to Pasadena?
