Our point guard's free throw shooting is not good. Devonte is shooting like 35% and J.T. around 57%. Your point guards need to be shooting 85% or better. Those stats are like some of our former big men.04-cheers

You're right. Who is going to get fouled intentionally when you have a lead late in the game. The point guards because they're going to be bringing the ball up the court. Better get the ball into the hands of Josh, Ben, James R. or Mariek as soon as possible. J.T. did finally make his final four free throws against Bradley after missing earlier. Devonte bricked several.

It has always been a mystery to me how a young man who has been playing organized basketball since grade school has trouble with a decent FT percentage. This is a true story, BELIEVE IT OR NOT' I once participated in Sr. Olympics, in fact twice. The first time Shooting Free Throws was one of the events. I got the blue ribbon for making 7 of 10 and had not touched a basketball in years. Seems to me for a guard in college, 80% should be no problem.
