5 Thoughts Miami Beach: Memphis 55, BYU 48 2OT
This is a fun read about the bowl game, speaks very well about our school.

http://campusinsiders.com/news/5-thought...byu-48-2ot

Here's a sample:
"Memphis has a promising future, particularly since Fuente has yet to be scooped up by a larger program. On a macro level, though, the Tigers are going to be a rallying cry for everyone from Chad Morris at SMU to Neal Brown at Troy. Because if Memphis is defeating nationally recognized BYU just three years removed from three straight 10-loss seasons, anything is possible with the right blueprint and the right amount of patience. For every Group of Five program that watched today’s Miami Beach Bowl, the Tigers represent a tangible reason to get up a little earlier and work a little harder this offseason."

Avery, hunter and Pegues will be back also...we lose a lot but also have a lot of talent returning too at the DL and LB positions...we have ball returning in the back field but we get hit hard back there.

And brady, pennington, crosby, nelson, robinson.

I am concerned about the CB position and depth at LB.

The offense should be incredible. It is going to have to take up the slack. I would think that Fuente will really open things up.

I think we're good at LB. The kid we got from Byhalia would have played last year but was hurt. Our problem is gonna be at corner. I think they could move Morley back to corner. And I think that juco corner we got will help.

We have always been thin at some areas on offense. Next year we will have the experience coming in to play the way Coach Fuente prefers on offense hopefully.
We haven't been able to run his TCU package...where he likes to play 'fast-fast-fast'
He has always had to scale it back a bit.
