Thanks to all ... ready for the season opener next September in Austin.

I couldn't catch the game on the Owl radio network but picked it up on the Fresno State network.

The Fresno announcers were a bit miffed that the Owl sideline was so confident during the 3rd quarter. The Owl sideline obviously knew something they didn't.

Congrats, Rice! Great win for our conference. Go Owls and Go C-USA!

Now if the team can just get home. The charter flight arranged by the conference that was due to leave around 9 pm Hawaii time last night had mechanical issues and the team was stranded at the airport until nearly 2 a.m. when two hotels finally found enough rooms to let them get some sleep. Supposedly they are going to get away late tonight and finally be on campus tomorrow around 10 a.m. Pretty crummy ending to a good win.
