AFA beats WMU
SDSU loses to Navy

I have 2-6 so far with Boise left to play Arizona. Looking MACesque.

I'd rather it be the MWC and AAC winning out, than other G5 conferences winning against either of us.

Same here. Boise winning doesn't help the AAC. It is apparent the AAC already is considered the best of the rest. Let the MWC fall.

Yep. Like it or not, college football is a business. Not sure why anyone would think it is personal...which is what a hater makes it. Castanza's motives had nothing to do with seeing a business prosper.

don't spin. People were hating on Boise and want them to lose. I dislike Boise immensely, but like it or not, they are on the outside looking in just like us and I LL root for any non-cartel school when they are playing against the P5 in a big bowl. It shows that we little guys are not on a lesser level than them when we beat them on a big stage. I rooted for Boise when they played Oklahoma and I assumed you guys did too....did you guys root against Boise in the 07 Fiesta bowl???

Or have the evidence they need to ignore the G5 completely. If Boise competes and loses a close game, and the AAC sweeps, your idea might work though.

I don't think it hurts the AAC if Boise wins the Fiesta bowl this year. Go ahead and root for Arizona to wax Boise, while I and the majority of fans viewing the game on tv will be rooting for the underdog. It's ok that you and most AAC fans along with Arizona and PAC 12 fans are the only ones in the country rooting for Arizona. Just don't pull that "I don't care" crap.

Watching bowl games outside of aac games are way down on my list of things to do this year. I didn't even know who they were playing until you told me.

I think Boise (2-0 in major bowls) is sort of in their own category, separate from the rest of the G5. Win or lose, Boise State doesn't make anyone think that the G5 as a whole is competitive with P5 teams.

If Marshall or Colorado State or ECU or UCF wins a major bowl vs a top ten P5 team, maybe people think the G5 is closer to the P5 competitively. But not Boise.
