My USA degree got me a scholarship to a top 25 MBA program. And the sad part was....USA's business classes were harder than many of my classes in grad school. Your UAT degree got you to..."Come You're In". Congrats.

So again, the calculation didn't include the cost of buyouts of games? If I had UAB on my schedule and had to find a new opponent on what amounts to a very short timeline, I'd sure as hell hold them to whatever buyout I could get. And nothing against UAB, I feel bad about them being held down and then destroyed.

USA and Troy certainly are going to demand full payment from UAB (to be honest, its not very much), partly because their demise damaged our schedules (USA in particular has a problem). We feel for UAB, but a contract is a contract.

The Machine is a group of lily white Fraternities and Sororities at UA. They run the joint. No, seriously, they run the joint. The whole school is run for their benefit and their benefit alone.

Its certainly the biggest problem of many with UAT.

If Birmingham was supposed to be analogous to UC San Francisco in the UC system, then why was a complete university - let alone a complete university with athletics -- let alone a complete university with Division I athletics --- established at the site??
