It's just not intelligent to act like your teams are some bastion of gracious losing and the other team is comprised of bad winners after these little meltdowns have been on public boards.

Toledo had a Boca Bowl game thread, that's it. No "derogatory Marshall thread after the NIU loss." So right there, you shot yourself in the foot.

I guess reading isn't your strength. Its not the title of thread--it's the content. You shot yourself in the foot right there. Surely you comprehend that content is more important than title. Here is a thought: try reading your boards as closely as you read ours.

Whatever. Go ahead and think that what your saying makes sense.

NIU will be better, Miami is trending upward, Kent st I really don't know much about like ohio...don't know about them next year....they seemed to show promise early but kinda faded at the end of the season... That's just what I saw... May be wrong

I suppose the eastern division MAC teams might not tell you much, as there haven't been many good teams from the east lately. BG has a good QB coming back that didn't play this year but I don't think you guys play them. I know you guys play Purdue, but they've been pretty bad too so might not be a test. I know Miami is the only team in the MAC that doesn't return their QB next year, and just about every team returns a lot of starters.

Doc Holliday and his vastly superior athletes (obviously) and vastly superior program (obviously) were 2-4 vs the MAC coming into this season. Congratulations on finally getting over .500 against a bunch of un-athletic and pathetic teams from a wretched and horrible conference. Its very impressive.

Marshall had a good year, end of story. Rinse and repeat that though because 4 of the past 5 seasons NIU has Marshall beat.
CUSA had a strong year and showed that in their bowl games. The MAC had a rebuilding year, and the best player for just about every team graduated or got hurt in the off season. Can CUSA stay atop the 2 of the G5? Going on recent history I doubt it.

You have to be the biggest drama queen ever. I mean you call out a thread on a Marshall board for poor sportsmanship and follow it up with this gem. No one said the MAC was pathetic. It was simply ironic that your board is bitching about poor winners while makng the types of comments seen here. If you can't see the irony, your IQ may have been lowered.

In reality, we were impressive this year. It may not fit your agenda, but reality hurts sometimes. I am sure Ohio will be back to dominating the MAC and leading in MAC championship wins very soon. I mean you have been in the conference for a long time. You must hold the championship title overall...right? Congratulations??

Not on this board. But they do on the Marshall board. Not that I care.

RE: Boca Raton Bowl: Marshall vs. NIU
Well, you get all kinds of kinds on those boards. Hell, we even have posters from a certain school in the north (USPaM) who pretend to be Marshall fans just to stir the pot up.

I think any remotely knowledgeable Marshall fan will not feel that the MAC is/was pathetic. It's had a couple of down years recently, but history shows it's had some solid, solid programs...I don't think the MAC is bad, we just had one helluva team this year...and have had some really good success under Doc and are finally getting back to where we need to be...
