Goodwin gets it together tonight.

I just saw Coach Kirby in the peabody lobby... I asked him if we were going to keep feeding the post with Austin playing well and he agreed. I also voiced my opinion that Pookie had solidified his position as our #1 option at PG. Very nice of him to speak with me for a few moments. Go Tigers!

The next stepping stone on our way to an even DEEPER run in the NCAA tournament this year!

Me too. I'd hate to be humiliated by my university two days in a row.

I realize you're trying to make fun of me, but luckily this is a basketball game wherein these things are able to be contained quite quickly. Coach Pastner is usually really good about getting in between folks to keep the peace.

I hope we don't have a brawl for the sake of the UNIVERSITY and its REPUATATION. I am not at all an advocate for the theory that all publicity is good publicity. I realize I differ from many around here.

Fighting solves nothing. I know our coach knows that. I believe that he is more than capable of nipping that kind of thing in the bud with our players. I think we have some good guys on our team who can be reeled in pretty quickly, should cooler heads NOT be prevailing at any given time!

you are correct...fighting solves nothing. But self defense is another story. I have NO problems at all with players defending themselves when attacked.
My older grandson is 6 years old and lives with my wife and I, along with his 7 year old older sister. I told him that if someone at school puts his hands on him, he has my ok to lay that dude out. I'll defend him to the principal.
I better NOT find out that he STARTED the fight however.
