I am reading that Narduzzi is headed to Pitt... Woah... interesting to see who comes in to replace him. Either or... I think that will have an impact on MSU's defense immediately...

Maybe.

Dantonio was DC at Ohio State when they won '02 NC, spends most of his time in defensive meeting rooms.

And they'll have the same players (minus graduating Seniors).

Wishful thinking, flush?

Narduzzi's name was in the running for the A&M, UConn, BC job, and several others... but this time around, it seems more serious and more likely to actually happen. Pitt has to be one of the more attractive openings out there with his Midwestern/Ohio ties, as well as him growing up (and playing) an hour away from Pittsburgh, PA -- seems like the perfect fit. Pitt always has been a sleeping giant IMO, even more so in a declining ACC.

FWIW, he was offered and turned down UConn last year. This time around he has 2 firm offers to choose from. I think it's safe to say that Dantonio has had a short list of possible replacements in his back pocket for a few years now knowing Narduzzi was eventually headed to a HC gig.
