No way. They would have to kick off at least a quarter of the team if that is the stance they took...

Ugly way to end a great season. Harsh punishments for players from both teams are likely. Similar to the end of the TCU game in fort worth back in the early 2000s. Players got expelled for that iirc.

Yeah, I'm worried about that hurting us next year. Just our luck, coming off a great year and we might have to open the season with a more than planned number of inexperienced players because guys are suspended, or worse.

Exactly. Back it up with a source or else it's just another guy on a message board.

Torwards the end of article:

American Athletic Conference commissioner Mike Aresco released a statement saying he has been in contact with Memphis officials and the league will work with the school in determining violations of the conference's code of sportsmanship.

"Needless to say, we are extremely disappointed that this happened, as we expect the highest standard of conduct from our student-athletes," Aresco said in the statement.

Screw them we appeal any penalties and will be in Big 12 by the time the appeals are heard.

That's funny right there, I don't care who you are.

We'll get a slap on the wrist penalty that Dodd, Bowen and Fuente will fully support...something like five or six players get one or two game suspensions next season.

I am guessing this is a bit tongue in cheek? Considering you have Pierre Niles slapping the BHam kid in the face as your avatar.?

Aside from that...I agree...even though he punched a kid in direct retaliation for that kid punching a Tiger in the back...he still threw a punch. Of course, the never to get laid again Nucua nearly grazed Outing's chin and was standing right in front of him after throwing a punch...very well could have thrown another one.

Deer in the headlight when Outing cold cocked him.
