When the winning team is celebrating on the field the losers should step aside and not jump in the middle of it head butting & sucker-punching celebrating players. What did you expect their teammates to do, run to the dressing room?

To the others thanks for the congrats. Been a long drought and we are finally focusing on football and turning the corner. Feels good.

Go AAC!!!

Congrats, I was just curious how long has it been since ya'll have been to a bowl and won a bowl? Not intended as smack or anything, just curious. Was it when '05 range when Deangelo was around?

You’re correct as the last bowl we WON was the 2005 Motor City Bowl. We went to bowls in 2007 & 2008 but lost both.

From a Cougar, accolades for a tremendous turnaround from last year's record. UH had a weird season, but beat Memphis at the Liberty Bowl. So, I recognize that one as a true signature win for my alma mater, giving acknowledgment of UM's value. Way to start off the AAC's 2014 - 15's bowl record. I'll be in Ft. Worth rooting for a UH win over Pitt.

Why would the Mountain West care about what happened after the game yesterday?

Fail

Congrats and thanks Memphis.

You got lots of publicity out of this one. If you didn't have the attention of the college football world before the game, you do now.

Lol it's hilarious when people post looking to make dumb comments and get called out on it. Dude doesn't even know BYU is an Indy. Sometimes stuff is just hilarious. This is the same "Tulane fan" (<---- Don't believe he's a real Tulane fan). That said Memphis and Cincy were the 2 worst FBS programs in college football in the Big 12 thread.

This year, we were probably better off where we went. Next year, different story. Goal should be New Year's Day Bowl and outright AAC Championship while at the same time taking down UCF for once.

A new years day bowl is a great goal but y'all should focus on getting back and trying to defend the title first with all you're losing. Anyways, congrats on the season and bowl win. I hope UCF can get themselves a bowl win on Friday.

I remember how amazing it felt to beat Boise State in the Hawaii Bowl after so many years without a bowl win. Congrats, Memphis! 04-cheers

But kept the main piece that orchestrated this whole thing. He has options this off season for DC and seasoned young players from this year.

I hope UCF, Houston, ECU, and Cincinnati all beat the hell out of their bowl opponents.

Beat them like Isadore "Knock" Outing beat cheap shot specialist Nacua!!

I'm late to the party but congrats on a great season and a great bowl win Tigers! 04-cheers Glad to see Memphis doing well in football.

Memphis football and ECU basketball is not really comparable (ECU basketball has been worse for longer) but I'm hoping ECU will make the commitment to basketball that Memphis has made to football recently.

I hope you succeed, but one thing we have learned is football is the only thing that matters. ECU has that covered.
