Hawaii vs Houston on Xmas 03 was another nasty brawl.

Hard to watch, just gross. I know it could technically happen anywhere...but I couldn't write my donation check next year if it happened to NIU, at least that bad.

Memphis even more at fault for this though, both programs are classless obviously, but Memphis might win the prize.

So if NIU was involved in something like this would you call our program classless? Don't be naive enough to think that something like this couldn't happen to any program.

If NIU resorted to this type of classlessness, I would call it for what it is, yes.

A few years back, I think it was S. Carolina and Clemson who had a big brawl in their last game, and both teams imposed a bowl ban on themselves as result that year.

What needs to happen in our society is for athletes who fight in these games to be prosecuted the same way individuals who fight in the rest of society are prosecuted.
I am sure a bunch of Toledo fans would agree. Especially if it involves "running over" band members. 05-stirthepot

At that fight was the only reason the Huskies went to the Silicon Valley Football Classic.
