so it's either trolling or college basketball I guess?

BYU's stewart got a lot better as the year went on...ucf played them with it it being his first start of the year after hill went down during the game before... that's why I said cool story.

Stewart is better than Brissette stats wise. Brisette looked like the worst qb in D1 vs. Clemson.

Brisette made UCF look like JV football

He's a good qb but com'n man!

It's one topic that's frustrating to see a lot of UCF fans set the bar so low. Even in the AAC conference with the campus, location, and facilities UCF should be recruiting a lot better. An athletic program can't operate in fear bc USF screwed up their hires. It's a different situation and support system at UCF where the chances of that happening are a lot lower

Here is reality for you guys once Gol leaves. Anytime you make a switch there is a risk, it could be for the better, same or worse I know you guys want to believe that the screw up at USF has a lower chance of happening at UCF but that's not true. But keep saying that to yourselves if it helps you sleep better. There have been bad hires that were successful elsewhere at even more storied and money programs than UCF. It's like gambling, you try to hedge your bets but you really have little control

when Leavitt was fired Genshaft decided that Holtz recruit a different type of athlete with the goal to get your team APR up so it was a complete flip in the roster then when he couldn't win you guys weren't patient enough. The foundation at UCF is better, you guys were a house of cards under Leavitt. That's why it fell apart so quick. Every hire is a risk but looking at you guys and going from within with Key just seems like a dumb and cheap move

I see you know everything about our program. What you have stated about our program isthe popular version for those making excuses on why the collapse happened but it's not the entire truth. But as I said keep telling yourself that you guys are in a better situation.

I know a few USF fans and that is the common story. I said UCF is in a better place right now for someone else new to take over and a better situation with an OCS, fanbase, etc. which is the truth. There are no guarantees it stays that way

Okay how's this?

1. How many times did he elude a sack as he moved around the pocket? He had our players scrambling around like they had no clue what they were doing.
2. How many times did he outrun a defender?
3. How many WIFF tackles were had going for him?
4. How many times did he throw to a wide open receiver? (He didn't stare down his receivers like Holman did)

Now I am not saying he is deadly accurate with his passes. He just overall made our O line and linebackers look silly.

Common story is NOT reality.
Here is the real story on the academic situation for football at USF.
After the 2007-08 report came out and USF football had a 909 APR, the university created an Academic Committee that would screen athletes with regards to college readiness and reject them if they didn't feel they would succeed. We lost a few kids in both football and basketball that ended up at other schools including Oregon.
The committee started for 2008 season, Leavitt was still the coach
2008-09 APR 930
2009-2010 APR 952
Skip didn't come on board until 2010 season, so as you can see it wasn't created for Skip.
2010-11 APR 963
2011-12 APR 970
2012-13 APR 973
By the way Skip didn't have many if any kids that were turned down by the AC, so that's not entirely true that Genshaft told Skip to recruit a different type of kid. It was Skip who decided he wanted Bigger kids to run his style of offense and defense and told many kids like your LB Plummer that he was too small to play that position at USF.

Skip was flat out a bad recruiter and burned many relationships with local schools that Leavitt had created.

Why did Knightlight get banned? Other than excessive crying and fake racist outrage.

UCF is having a bad night, don't you think the fans are down enough without people on the board piling on them. And the Memphis beating chest like they are the greatest thing in football is getting really old.

I haven't seen a Memphis fan beating their chest? Stop trying to provoke a fan base that isn't even doing anything negative towards UCF.

You have got to be kidding me! Maybe not many in this thread, but they do it and it is getting old.

I've yet to meet a more insufferable fan base than UCF (and that includes Ole Miss, BYU fans, and UT fans) they needed a little humble pie...

That said, I was rooting for all 3 co-champs to win.

LOL I was trying to create a fake tweet talking bout the 'special 3/4 size trophy case UC had commissioned for our 3/4 trophy' but I wasn't able to figure out how to do it lol

The best laugh I've had on this board. But what made it truly great is that a few were actually taking it seriously.
