As it has been stated before on the boards... Kennesaw is at best an absolute stretch for the Sun Belt.

This really isn't that overly surprising. Cajuns have lost a ton from last year, and Georgia Southern lost several as well. Then our normal standby's to enter the poll in Troy and South Alabama are both coming off rebuilding years.

The reality is, we probably have more than 1 Top 40 team at the end of the year.

For the record, I have nothing but the utmost respect for Sun Belt baseball. That's one of the reasons why you guys are so attractive to us.

I really do not think it ends that way. All teams lose key players every year.

Agreed. I just remember this past spring hearing all of the emphasis on baseball in the league. Frankly I was surprised to see the Cajuns drop so low in spite of their losses to draft and graduation.

Ole miss dropped further than us. I'm not surprised we dropped that far, we lost a lot of really good ball players. We brought in a ton of talent but at this point that's all they are. We will see, doesn't really matter anyway... After the year we had if we take care of business early we will fly up the rankings. If we don't take care of business, well we won't be ranked no matter where we start.

Arkansas State could easily finish top 40 if we had a great season. All but 2 of our OOC opponents finished top 150 RPI last year.

It has been pointed out to me that my oroginal post came across as trollish. That wasn't my intention at all. But I certainly can see how it was received that way. Sorry about that, guys.
