From one game against a regional rival and on to another. Campbell (5-6) has three wins against non-DI competition and two relatively unimpressive DI wins against Delaware St and SIU Edwardsville. Nevertheless they played fellow CAA members JMU and Charleston close, and are difficult to beat in their house. They will most certainly get up for this game.

I know the mullet takes a lot of heat, but recently he's been optimistic about us winning. That's got to give him a little credit around here.

He's definitely the type where we rip on him, but if an outsider came in and ripped on him, we'd defend him. He's kind of a d*ck but he's OUR d*ck, ya know? Or is that not the right word to use there?

I'm not so sure about that. He has admitted that he is not a Seahawk fan.

I am not a fanatic but its pretty easy to see I enjoy UNCW sports and not just basketball.I get it that you guys went to school there and that makes it a lot more personal to you.
If they don't beat Campbell easily I would be surprised.

wish this game was this evening as I am doing an overnight in Raleigh and would've made the drive to Beau Creek. Ive heard Campbell's new arena is pretty nice and they always get up for a game against us.

No matter the records they always play us tough. It seems that it doesn't matter who has the most talent or better record. Add in the fact that its the final game before a short holiday break - I expect a tough game.

Just saw a tweet saying that analytics guru Ken Pomeroy will be in attendance for this game. Pretty cool.

Down 15-6 at the 2nd Media and not looking particularly good. Freddie's had some good looks that have all rimmed out. Campbell is fired up so we'll need to improve on D for sure.

Playing much better leading up to the under 8:00 timeout but down 3 nonetheless. Malik Pugh is so quick and agile he's wreaking havoc on D and helping force turnovers.

Chuck and Ced with 2 each already not good.

Sherwood and Malik came to play today. Everyone else is struggling a bit. To Campbell's credit, other than a couple turnovers, they're playing basically a perfect game to this point.

That's more like it. Sherwood with a huge block, Malik with a drive and perfect pass to Gettys for an easy layup, then nearly goes coast to coast on the next possession and draws a foul. And with the final play before the last media, Spruill with a steal and draws another foul on a layup attempt. That's what Keatts basketball can look like. 2 point game.

35-35 at the half. CJ is getting destroyed underneath. Freddie also not playing well at all; we need him in the 2nd. The rest of the team improved dramatically, however. Ponder and Spruill looking real good along with Malik and Dylan.
