Their pregame show is on SiriusXM channel 143. One of their hosts just said that BYU will be the best team that we have faced all year. They might be a good team, but I'm pretty sure that Ole Miss and UCLA and probably Cincinnati would be better.

Hopefully they will be sounding like the UCLA radio guys come about the 2nd quarter. UCLA radio broadcast was as follows:
1st: Ho hum, UCLA will not have a problem with the Tigers.
2nd: Um okay, Tigers have some spirit.
3rd: Holy smoke, who are these Tigers?
4th: Respect all over for the Tigers, knew they had to fight for the W.

They were at least respectful and professional.

Also, said we did not play the other 2 co-champions UCF and ECU.??? Then mentioned our only really notable win was Cincinnatti. Also repeated the Mendenhall line that our "players and coaches were acting like we had already won.

They probably meant, BYU will be the best team Memphis has beaten this season.

Even then it's a stretch but makes much more sense.

They have to have some filler information just for the broadcast, no matter how inaccurate it is. Here's to hoping the Tigers make them go completely silent suring their broadcast. Like speechless!!!

When you are a sports journalist, and you get your research from a flakey news outlet that did shoddy research, you yourself become a shoddy journalist. It just so happens there's another link on here about an MSN article this morning that said we did not play the other co-champions of the AAC.

When the media sucks, the suckage gets multiplied over and over again.
