I agree with you that Memphis fans should not be all cocky about one good season. And I'm one of the few that believe that we will not get into the Big12, nor do we deserve to, yet.

However reading through their board, most of them seem to think they are a top-tier program. When in fact, they are just a mid-major, like the rest of us.

A couple even referred to the AAC as full of "garbage programs". Even UCF, who beat them earlier this year.

Werent these guys part of the MWC just a few short years ago?

That "vaunted" Memphis defense is getting carved like swiss cheese.

Shootouts are always a good show for the fans. Memphis has plenty of time to settle their defense down and make a couple of first-half stops.
