I learned a couple of things from this program:

- Football generated 2-3x as much revenue as basketball for UAB, even in its terrible years.
- Carr Sports actually assisted in the hiring of Coach Bill Clark! In light of this, the report seems like a "what the hell have we done!?" kinda move!

This was hatchet job. As Justin Craft layed out the facts, it seems laughable that a scenario like this would even occur. Watts has screwed over a lot of people.

So Ray Ray kills the biggest revenue producing sport. Pinky promises that athletic budget won't be cut overall. East siders rejoice. But subsidy as to increase to keep budget level since we've lost a big chunk of revenue. East siders angry again.

I want to show our faculty that the football team generated more money than is being reported. Can someone provide me with an article/information that I can forward to our faculty senators? There is going to be a meeting at our school prior the faculty senate vote to discuss the issues.
