Just for the record, we all know Temple never beat a MAC team with a winning record, but also UMass has never either.

UMass has one season left in the MAC - lets keep it that way.

I expect that my alma mater will do its part next year, taking away the chance at beating a winning team when UMass plays MiamiU.

Really Miami OH. We've been FBS for 3 years including the transitional year.

We'll have one shot on our 4 FBS year and finally get up to 85 scholarships.

Even if it were to happen, it would be such a minor accomplishment.
Kind of like UMass finishing better than Miami for the past 2 years.

Okay, but this challenge would be much more sporting of you if there were actually any teams in our division with a winning record to begin with. Even beating Bowling Green wouldn't have counted, because that would have dropped them to 7-7. It's basically all up to Toledo to keep this streak going next season, unless somebody else on our schedule steps up.

In fact, nobody in the East beat a MAC team with a winning record this season. And only one East team had a winning record against the West. (Guess who.)

Just to throw it out the UCF only beat 1 team with a winning record in their 3 years in the MAC.

... while nobody else in the MAC East did. Congrats -- you scheduled the two worst in the MAC West. But beating BSU was step forward for UMass, as they have had a LONG way to go and still have a LONG way to go. Definitely not something to Brag about, being the only Mac East team to go 2-1 against the West (bottom 2 West teams turn to wins while having *3* wins *total*). :)

And no MAC team has ever beaten an FBS UMass team with a winning record either. :)

Sure is a lot of animosity from some MAC fans towards UMass, I don't get it. It's not like UMass spurned your conference for another but hey it might make next season more interesting, as long as the MAC officials aren't playing favorites.

Certainly would be sweet for UMass to take the conference championship trophy with them on the way out of the conference.

Well, they did spurn the MAC for sports other than football.

I had no idea UMass was leaving the A10 and taking all of their sports programs Independent.
