Hopefully on Tuesday we will see an even bigger MAC upset if NIU beats Conf. USA champion Marshall. NIU are ten point under-dogs

I am not sure you can consider BG's win an upset considering they were playing the Sun Belt's #6 team. Keep in mind South Alabama and Arkansas State would not be bowling if Georgia Southern and App State were post season eligible and Texas State was bypassed even though they finished ahead of South Alabama. NIU really need to make a statement by beating Marshall otherwise I could see the MAC at 1 - 4 or 2 - 3 this post season which would be in line with the usual lackluster showing.

According to Vegas BGSU were 2.5 point underdogs.
South Alabama beat Arkansas State who play Toledo.

If NIU bears Marshall which I believe might well happen it will be one of the biggest upsets according to Vegas.

Interesting to Note that WMU were slim favorites and lost.

Last year the MAC were 0-5 in Bowl games.
Sunbelt were 2-0.

This year we have already improved on last years record.
Toledo should beat Arkansas State. Toledo are only 1 point favorites!

Toledo beat BGSU. BGSU beat South Alabama. South Alabama beat Arkansas State.

MAC Bowl outcomes:
1-4 would be an improvement on last year.
2-3 would be good.
3-2 would be very good.
4-1 would be excellent.

How bad must South Alabama's defense be for Knapke to light them up?

Good enough to contain Arkansas State.

At stake is the chance to win 13 games for the first time in NIU FB history.

Who do we play after we beat Marshall?

Thanks for pointing out my error.

At stake is the chance to win 12 games for 3 successive years for the first time in NIU FB history.
