Wow....tough game for 60 minutes and was glad when the final whistle blew. Very proud to say we played you and your team of young men who never quit and with a coach that has the excitement to carry into next season.

I think the rain and the weather hurt you maybe a little more (and your passing attack) than us and our rushing attack. Speaking of the weather, too bad for all the young men on the field and the coaching staffs that there were not more folks in the stands but I know the true fans were there....must have been tough or the fans with 39 degrees and rain for 3 hours

Our early fumble right out of the chute had my gut churning and was grateful it was only a FG by you (and the same thing with the missed extra point later...ouch).

For you, too many passes I know would have been caught by your receivers on a dry day so I feel fortunate to walk away with the win. And 'yes' your 1 fumble was a key turning point in the game since you were moving the ball and stopping us.

Gotta say I am proud of our two FB's who were studs today in the rushing department and our rushing defense. Again, I don't think we had the best from your RB who I know has been hurting these last few weeks....he will be exciting to watch next season.

Take care and thanks for letting me stop by and talk some football. Good luck next year and Merry Christmas. Come out to watch a game and come to our tailgate sometime in Colorado Springs.

You guys have a great team this year and they played a great game tonight. Congrats on the 10-win season.

Hope we can get a rematch on a dry field with a healthy Jarvion Franklin. 05-stirthepot

We've played in those exact same weather conditions already this year (Toledo). Disappointed we never really adjusted.

NO EXCUSES ... but frustration. The three biggest losses this year....Toledo NIU and Air Force played in Weather Channel lead conditions..... did not get a break on those dates.

Maybe if we'd have had gale force winds it would have blew Haldeman's extra point threw the uprights instead of doinking it off the post 03-hissyfit

Weather couldn't have been that bad. Peej wore a visor and no rain gear the whole game.

Sorry for the delay it took a long time to get my account approved so I could post this.

Another AF fan here. Man, who is your defensive staff?!?! Whoever, they aren't paid enough! I was very impressed with your preparation and ability to contain the perimeters in the game with so little prep time. Even teams who see us each year have more trouble, so hat's off.

You've got a good program there and I wish we had faced each other in more hospitable environs. Best of luck in future. I am sure that you guys are going to make some real noise!

RE: From an Air Force fan
Thanks for visiting our site, and the great competitive bowl game.

I'm not blaming the weather on the game results. I believe that what I saw was an "experienced" Air Force team against a pretty young Bronco squad. I like our team moving forward and would love to see you guys again in the near future. We have our work cut out for us next year as in our first four games we will be facing 2 top ten teams in the nation, starting with Michigan State and finishing up with Ohio State before we enter league play.

Your comments about our defense is deeply appreciated. Good luck Air Force and thanks for your service to our nations security.

Always proud to be a Bronco, RTB.
