I think the refs let it go because he was more kayaking than rowing.

Eh, definitely nothing holy. I just found it very unsportsmanlike. I'm not saying WMU was innocent, though. There was a lot of trash talking going on in that game.

Any time you have a slogan that you use THAT much, it's going to get mocked. I'm somewhat happy NIU has backed a little bit away from the "hard way" phrasing, they still use it, but when it was on the jersey's, it was starting to go a little far.

Keep that stuff internal as much as possible, when you're SO public about it, it's going to be thrown back in your face.

It's close, but I think if PJ would have challenged it the replay booth would have ruled it to be "rowing" and thus would have drawn an "unsportsmanlike" penalty.
