BG loses by 14. Players hungover from watching the football game?

Nice.
Someone said it's the only home loss by a D1 to a D2 this year in 220 some games.

I live in Texas and El Paso is still 12 hours away. It's really out there.

Notre Dame is going to take us to the woodshed. We've lost to Eastern Illinois and Dartmouth...

Reviewed the post on AZZ where I saw this. 226-0 at home to first week if December according to that post. Drexel lost on 12/4. Even so it was a pretty remarkable feat by the Falcons.

Ohio getting worked by a pretty solid GW team right now. The Bobcats got some solid freshmen in Laster and Taylor.
Edit: 77-49 final. Ohio gets either DePaul or Colorado tomorrow.

RE: MAC BBall WK7 (12/21 - 12/27)
the future is bright in Athens but the present is extremely frustrating. When Groce left for Illinois the Bobcats only had 1 returning freshman (Stevie Taylor) and 1 incoming recruit (Caris LaVert). LaVert bailed and Christian had to try to backfill those classes with JUCOs and transfers, some were really good (NDour), some were just ok (Willis and Setty), and others never saw the floor (Rio Adams). 2 years later and the Bobcats aren't getting a whole lot from their juniors and seniors.
This team is sort of like the '09-'10 team, if they get hot watch out, but if not its painful to watch.

CMU goes to McNeese and throttles 'em. The 9-1 Chippewas should now be regarded as at least a darkhorse in the MAC West and the MACC.

I'd like to see them play someone good (the best team they've played is the worst team in the B1G), but yes they're vastly improved from last season.

EagleSam, you're right with regard to weak competition. It wasn't long ago, it was an effort for CMU just to squeak by (or lose to) lowly regarded opponents. This year the Chippewas have beaten two D1 teams by over 30 points; two by over 20; two by over 10, and one by single digits.
The first MAC game for CMU could be a bellweather contest: at Toledo.

You guys are scoring like crazy, that's for sure. Definitely perked up some ears.
