The Cajuns lost to Auburn by 20+. What did you see in that game that made you believe that the Cajuns were the better team?

Auburn loses to Coastal Carolina, a good team but a loss at home.

Auburn is very beatable, yet we get blown away. More than talent, this coach's teams continues year in and year out to be mercurial. We never know what version of the Cajun squad will show up.

So, the only thing we can count on is that you guys will probably beat Georgia State and ULM, but you might lose to App State the next day?

App loses to Bama 60-59 after Frank Eaves last second shot falls short.

We are not the worst team in this conference.

If we finish .500 in the SBC Fox deserves COY consideration. Great effort by this team after getting news a three starter was declared academically eligible earlier in the week.

Saw the last half of that game. Had App not gone stone cold for several minutes near the end I think it would have been an easy W for you guys. Very impressive game up until that point.

That would have been a nice win.

I looked it up. Less than a half mile from the Canadian Border, though a few miles from the nearest border crossing.

36-34 Niagara with 1 minute left in the half. Been pretty back and forth throughout.

I haven't watched basketball since Travis Best was at Georgia Tech... whenever that was. Can someone tell me why my team plays once every two weeks and never on the weekend?

AState comes back from 9 down in the 2nd half to defeat Niagara 74-69. I was openly advocating that we throw John Brady over the nearby Niagara Falls in a barrel had we lost that game.

Next matchup is one week from today in Mobile against South Alabama..

Sean Gardner and Cameron Golden both had over 20 points to lead stAte. Anthony Livingston had another double double. PJ Hardwick had 11 assists.

Defense was pathetic for a large portion of the game, but we're 5-4 somehow.

By the way, South Alabama lost by 13 to Conference Affiliate member Howard last night at home.

Yikes.

Yikes.

South Alabama has a very young team from what I understand. Only 1 senior

Troy is in the same boat. (2 seniors plus injuries) but I think usa is struggling a little more.

Ouch....Southland school.

2nd of the season. We lost to McNeese too! I am so tired of Bob Marlin, much like y'all are done with Brady!

I'd kill to get Jessie or Marty Fletcher back.

Marty Fletcher..there is a name awhile back. What happened to him.
He spent some time at Denver (DU) if I remember correctly. Speaking of Fletcher, he wore me out watching him move up and down the side lines. I think he was the Ragin' Cajuns coach when we lived in Lafayette...had season tickets to football and basketball and made all the games back then. It was a very enjoyable three years in Lafayette for us. Wish we could have moved our house in Lafayette to Houston. We liked it a whole lot better than the one we got here.

---------------------

(Memory didn't fail me. He went directly to DU after his time in Lafayette and then to a Colorado D-II university after that. Colorado-Colorado Springs.)

Had to look it up. I had almost forgotten about him.

Green Bay beats Georgia State 78-61 today to avenge an earlier loss to the Panthers in one of the final SBC OOC games of the season.

League play begins with a full slate of games on Tuesday.
