From my balcony in South Beach I face Flamingo Park Stadium and today I can see the Tigers practicing right now. I took a picture but don't know how to upload the picture here. If anyone knows let me know how to do it and I'll post.
By the way got free tickets for the game from the City of Miami Beach
I'll be rooting for the Tigers but wearing my USF cap at the game.

Thanks. Yes it's a nice place to live.

I'll post some pics from game

So Cuban, how you feel about the Obama announcement and normalizing relations? No political slant, just curious.

54 years of a policy that has not worked and its used by the Castro as the reason for the economic chaos in the country.
While I understand the pain of those that had family members killed by the Castros, the reality is that there will only be change in Cuba when those inside decide to do that. The U.S. policy and so called embargo has only served to give the Castros an excuse.
I think it's a good move. If we can have relations with China and Vietnam why not Cuba.

Thanks Cuban. For what it's worth, I agree with your assessment. Time for change.

That's close to where I live. If you want some good burgers try Burgers Beer Joint, sushi Pubbelly Sushi, Mexican Tequiztlan all of those are on the west side of the island, but you can ride the 25 cent bus that will take you around all of south beach.
On Lincoln Road Balanz is pretty good but everything there is a bit more pricey. For Sunday brunch many locals go to Oliver's on west avenue, has wide menu.
If money is not big issue try Smith and Wollensky on south pointe park. You can see the cruise ships going in and out of the port
Forgot for French try A la follie on Espanola Way

Thanks Cuban, having a ball. Walked around south beach tonight, fun. I'll look for the bulls cap at the game! Also enjoying the viceroy/brickell area.

If you are staying in the Brickell area. Try the area around Mary Brickell Village lots of cool bars and restaurants, young crowd. Try going and getting coffee at Segafredos really nice atmosphere at night on weekends
